DC Cocktail Week 2017 in Washington, DC

During DC Cocktail Week, more than 50 Washington, DC area restaurants and bars offer specially priced cocktail and food pairings to entice guests to try something new. Sponsored by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), participating restaurants will pair their featured cocktails with delicious bites for a single price. This is a great opportunity to check out the local happy hour scene.

Participating restaurants range from hot spots such as Zaytina in Penn Quarter to City Perch Kitchen + Bar in Bethesda to Mazagan Restaurant & Lounge in Arlington.

Tips for Getting the Most out of DC Cocktail Week:

  • Make a reservation. Many of the most popular restaurants will get busy and it’s always a good idea to plan ahead if possible. Note that some restaurants do not take reservations.
  • Cocktails are expensive in DC so this is a good time to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
  • Read menus and reviews so that you know what to expect. Look at the menu price range. Be aware that you will probably need to eat additional food, so plan accordingly.
